Never any acknowledgement, let alone reward. My company offers two free mental health consultations. Per year. Also in the midst of a “we care!” campaign. No you don’t. In fact the opposite. Sometimes I wish I worked for the Mafia. At least then we wouldn’t have to pretend anyone cares about doing the right thing.

Though that could go for big companies too. “When we said ‘We’re a family here’, we meant upper management, not you.”
