I must be out of the loop, but when did “enters the battlefield” get shortened to “enters”? Are there subtle differences? Like what about face-down cards getting turned up?
I think Bloomburrow was the first set to use that language. It functions the same way, so something being flipped does not “enter”, except in cases where it explicitly leaves the battlefield and returns transformed. There are a few lands and flipwalkers that do that, I believe.
