Looking through Netflix or prime video or something and not finding anything interesting? Try reading a book. Not a snarky message, actually try it out if you’re bored of movies and shows.

Not sure how to find books you’re interested in? Check out goodreads or forums like r*ddit. Search for the same genres as the shows you watch and try out the best rated books in that genre that pique your interest.

I’ll +1 this but amended it to say audio books are fucking amazing.

Narrators like Tim Gerard Reynolds, Ray Porter, and Mary Robinette Kowal are class act and add to the book just as much as the author does.

I follow these narrators around for their works just as much as the author’s.

Got to the end of a TV series and feeling like you could use a bit more of it? Often the adventure continues in the form of fan fiction! Oh, the goods might be a little low quality at times, but there are plenty of pretty decent authors out there crafting stories. Sometimes they even endeavor to fix plot holes and unexplained points that inevitably pop up in any show.
