The various decedents of Rockefeller’s Standard Oil keep one Standard station open in each of the states they operate in so they can maintain their “Standard Oil of <State Name>” trademark.
That’s interesting. This picture is an Amoco (now BP) sign with the Standard name on it.
Maybe they’re doing the same thing as Chevron?
