Walking would at least be the correct speed and alternating legs, but still be a terrible name for that leg swinging.

As in, swinging her legs back and forth over the ground, like pendulums, I believe.

It’s the same motion
So is walking and almost anything else we do with legs, since that is the only real motion they ever do: back and forth. Walking would at least be the correct speed and alternating legs, but still be a terrible name for that leg swinging.
Walking is for the purpose of moving though. I suppose you could say they are kicking the air if that makes more sense.
