User @Kombuchawow is banned for whatever reason but they are the sole mod (owner?) of a bunch of communities.

Is there a process to remove them? A lot of the names are old subreddits. They are clearly unused.

      Thanks for spreading the word. No one has claimed any of the community names so we’ll be running a script to purge the inactive ones. They had more than 300, so I’m glad I don’t have to remove them manually.

    Was that some branded company from Thailand or something? I remember someone mentioning the mass of communities they were generating at the time. Lemmy is fertile ground for some low cost/effort attempts to landgrab. I guess it’s a mark of upward progression for the service. For that I’d say hurrah!
