As much as I agree that he absolutely deserves to hang for crimes against humanity, there’s no chance of that ever happening, so it wouldn’t be a factor in his decision making. Getting ousted for corruption, though, was definitely on the docket last year (hell, IIRC whether or not he should even be allowed to form a government at all while the investigation was ongoing was a question that the courts needed to rule on). So it’s really quite convenient for him that Hamas managed such a brazen, large scale attack to let him justify staying in power.
Jail is a tad bit kind don’t you think? Should try and convict him in Nuremberg just like the Nazis.
