    It’s a real goofy time over there, haha. A lib tried to Ultra me and tell me Lemmy is Capitalist because posting is Value, and asserted that I haven’t read Marx, only being exposed to Lenin via memes.

      If a website (like Twitter or facebook) make money off ads and our posts bring viewers to ads then yeah us posting creates value in some way for the capitalists who own the websites.

      I don’t think lemmy has ads though? I never see them if it does.

      Wtf was their point anyway? “You claim to hate capitalism, yet you participate in capitalism. Curious!” posting? Classic reactionary dipshittery
