Insane to complain about historical accuracy with Assassin’s Creed, like Yasuke (an acutal historical figure) is woke nonsense but the eternal war between the Assasins and the Templars (and aliens I think) is fine.
the only weird thing about him being a player character is that usually the assassin is a made up person who meets actual historical figures, but we know dick fuckall about him so he’s a blank enough slate for their purposes.
