By protesting the genocide you are opposing the expansion of an empire-aligned ethnostate in a region we have been meddling in for, oh, 80 years now, because it’s full of the vroom vroom juice the empire needs to wage war and placate the internal populace. The USA is using the Israelis just as cynically as they are using the Ukrainians, just the circumstances are different, the motivation is the same.
