The plushie has vaguely trans-flag like colors, and is cute, and due to random circumstance become a meme in trans spaces on the internet. It quickly spread like wildfire and is arguably a trans symbol.

As of now, there is an instance that calls itself “blahaj-zone” (or something similar, I forgot), but appears to be staunchly liberal, to the point of banning people with radically leftist views. Hence my idea

Yeah i know that blahaj is radlib, i even put a post about the 196 community mod, something like 80% of total ban log on entire lemmy was this guy banning everyone who even remotely resemble ML.

I didn’t know about the plushie being trans symbol, but it makes it even worse since they ban literally the most trans-accepting people on the internet.

Isn’t the 196 mod (over on reddit, presumably they’re also on the blahaj zone) a chaser? (And not the cool, old Toyota)

Afaik reddit 196 mods are also radlibs though idk personally i was never there. I meant specifically 196 on blahaj. Though i noticed the 196 on lemmy.world is also moderated by radlib who bans ML’s.

it’s not strictly needed, but having an entire instance for queer people seems reasonable, as it would then be a site with different subject matters and communities but you would know they’re always friendly to queer people no matter what

you raise a good point, though
