He’s not especially bright nor informed, but he’s also a nepo baby of oligarchy and has been a constituent of the military-intelligence-industrial complex for decades. It’s hard to tell what he’s saying that he actually believes vs what he’s saying to propagandize, and I don’t bother trying to differentiate the two.
