The titles to all of these are stupid and fake.

“Are these tits too small?” posted to tinytits

“Where oh where can I find an older guy with a dadbod willing to fuck me???” on every fucking street, in every bar, and at every work place, ever

I guess it’s more successful than “If you like me naked, you can pay to see more.”

I try not to let it annoy me too much, and I console myself by looking at them naked. They’ve gotta make a living, and I imagine it’s not easy. shrug You’re not wrong, but I’d be surprised if any title here is authentic.

Standing out in the crowd of “self-empowered” sex-workers/porn stars trying to fight the algorithm’s appetite for new things probably isn’t the easiest thing in the world.

My hope is that the influx created by OnlyFans and its clones will help normalize sex work into a state where no-one bats an eye if someone posted themselves online to make a living when they were young and fit.

Reality is still that a lot of people prey upon this kind of thing and past life choices can ruin future careers.

      It’s engagement farming.

Notice how they’re all questions? The way this works on other social media is you ask something in a community that most people will have an opinion on, but frame it opposite to that opinion (e.g. the tiny tits question), and that will give you a bunch of engagement through comments which tells the algorithm the post is more interesting so it pushes the post higher to raise visibility to keep people on the site longer to view more ads.

The thing is, Lemmy does not have an algorithm like that, so it’s pointless to do here.
