Not even Meh, I’d flat out argue it’s ugly. Maybe I just don’t get it, but it’s a giant eyesore imo

          Precisely.

Before the artist confirmed it was his piece of work, Islington councillor Flora Williamson said it would be “incredible” to have a Banksy artwork “right in the middle of social housing and one of the poorest parts of the borough”.

His work almost never benefits the community though. Councils will actively remove it or individuals will tear down walls just to sell it for private gain.

If the artist genuinely cared about the community they wouldn’t bestow work upon it but work with them instead.

Other than the auction thing, Banksy haven’t done anything interesting since ‘exit through the gift shop’, that wasn’t really good neither.

What is your definition of meh? Personally I liked Banksy in Ukraine especially The Judo Competition. But yeah this tree thing is not any good.

Nobody really reads resumes anymore. And I know this because mine has had “secretly banksy” on it, right between advanced Excel and intermediate SQL, for the last 7 years.

Not a single person has mentioned it, which is doubly strange because I definitely have been asked, “When you say advanced Excel; advanced in what way?” - which, I’ll grant you, is the obvious question anytime someone puts that on their resume.

It literally never occurred to me that it was just a lame joke. Maybe I’m projecting since I never read resumes.
