They would be doing that with the uncut video as well though. They’ll just insist it is fake and refuse to watch it the instant they become bored by it. It’s a no win situation with someone who refuses to learn. You show them the long video and they respond with “I’m not watching that fake garbage” you show them the edited down version and they say “it was edited, so clearly it was fake.”
