Reading Leslie Feinberg’s Transgender Liberation: A Movement Whose Time Has Come filled me with such an overwhelming feeling of solidarity and love for these people who lived and died for hundreds, thousands of years before us, in every part of the world. I’m tearing up as I write this, even thinking about it. We are still here.
It is a great read, I loved the diversity of perspectives and stories in it. Even when it’s depressing, it’s amazing and humbling to learn about our history.
Even just this does fill me with terrible sadness, it is depressing but it’s a really critical part of our history to know. We’re still here!
