Now let’s assume Checo is here at one point away from a race ban.it would be kind of harsh to penalize the driver for a team mistake. It’s a two way championship. So in these type of situations it would be more fair the team gets penalized iso the driver. And yes if drivers fuck up it counts also for the teams, I get that. But this just feels unfair imho. Just like Sainz penalty in Vegas.
And point deduction for the constructor’s can be harsh if they end up 2nd or 3rd at the end of the season.
