It’s a little disgusting, but completely in character, for Reddit to leech off those apps for over a decade and then stab them in the back.
And by leech, I mean I question whether Reddit would have grown as much as it did without the 3rd-party apps. Hardly anyone uses Reddit desktop.
… it’s probably a good thing that I don’t have Reddit on my phone now, to be honest, just wish it hadn’t happened this way.
I’ve heard a lot of people share the same sentiment - it’s actually a good thing that we don’t have access to reddit apps now. It was too addictive, took up too much of our time, and now we get to try new things.
