    i’m late in realizing this, but the reason the IDF has so many friendly fire incidents is because they literally don’t bother to train to discriminate between targets. if it’s in the zone of violence and it moves, it’s an enemy. other armies at least theoretically have some kind of rules of engagement, but israelis have no rules but to destroy as much as possible.

      A fifth of their own casualties in this are friendly fire lmao?

      How? They’re all almost certainly kitted out in the fanciest shit money can buy, and they’re fighting people with busted ass aks without dust covers who are wearing flip flops and shit

          I agree, I was moreso pointing out that they should be VERY visually distinct from one another; Israelis are gonna be all kitted out in uniform, Palestinians will doubtlessly not be

          Not to mention they should have radio sets, be in contact with each other continually, probably have at least some form of training regarding not shooting the first thing you see (though maybe not lmao)

            And!! And!! The Palestinians absolutely won’t have infrared scopes or binoculars in any significant volume, so you can do the IR flasher on the helmet. They have no excuse to be this bad lol
