Have you ever visited this place? I have heard they have very nice food and heavy transportation and so many cool mass events.
I was planning to go there for a trip but I have heard bad reviews from the past.
Also I was thinking to extend trip to the Xinjiang province to see the wonderful cultural and religion diversity they are famous for. However some folks tell me this changed recently?
OP have you ever been to Kent State? Or Cobbs Creek, Philadelphia? I hear they’re lovely destinations.
Ya. I learned about those in public school.
No, but sometimes I have a dinner with my wife and I want to say ‘Honey, can you give me the salt?’ but instead I say ‘Fuck the evil chinese government’.
Slip of a tongue
Well that’s kind of a weird quirk to have.

You should go, they will tank you later
No but I’ve visited Dachau. I think that’s enough for mass event locations for me
I went there in 2009. I was too young to appreciate the culture. Locals were busy selling tourists goods and I wasn’t even sure what to soak in at the square.
Troll post.

The morality of US actions can be debated about but 1k plus people died on 9/11 in a terrorist which obviously led to tensions running high. On the other hand, the Chinese government saw a peaceful protest and immediately mobilized its army on its own people.

As far as I’m aware the leader was alone in that opinion. Not only did the army use live ammunition, they used a kind that caused maximum damage. Completely unjustified - and on student protestors - not terrorists.
Thanks, I wasn’t aware of those actions by the army. Guess that gives me a different view of the incident…
That view being wrong, yes.
Try not to argue topics you don’t know anything about.
They weren’t radical communist protestors. They were students demanding more democracy and transparency from the government.

Just a random patch of red on the ground, nothing to see here!
This is a muzzle flare of peace!
Just a coincidental head injury.
Random mass casualty event in a Beijing hospital from the same day at the same time.
A smear of red paint on the ground, of course.
This guys just feeling tired, I guess
Saying the TSM didn’t happen because everyone was killed in the streets next to the square is as disinformative as saying the Holocaust was exaggerated because most of the killing took place in countries outside of Germany.

Ahhh~ I see you’re using the Gish Gallop technique, 15 different links, wow!
For those unawares, the Gish Gallop is when you bombard your opponent with claim after claim, using whatever source agrees with you.
like come on dude, lmao. most of these sources are from Chinese officials.
Like seriously, this account is called the Shanghai Panda. Do you expect them to be truthful when their pinned tweet is calling the CCP democratic and calling Western nations undemocratic?
Links to a logical fallacy Wikipedia article and doesn’t respond to a single point, Liberals are not sending their best!
Like seriously, this account is called the Shanghai Panda.
They’re sharing videos and pictures from people who were at the protests, you should be engaging with the content that the account posted, not with the account’s username.
Goodness, look at this Gish Gallop, over 15 different links!
For all our sakes, can you narrow it down to your best 3? No one can be bothered going through 15 different sources, especially when most of them are twitter and youtube links.
