    • 6oz Gin
    • 4oz Vodka
    • 2oz Extra Dry Vermouth

    Stir (do not shake) with big block of ice until very cold. Garnish with lemon peel. Drink before it warms up.

      Vodka brings nothing to a martini, fight me.

      I also like to stir for 25 seconds, leave for a minute or two, and then strain into a chilled glass. No ice in the actual drink.

      2 olives and lemon peel garnish.

        I like a milder taste. The vodka softens the gin without watering the drink down.

        Oh… because of course “Fluid Ounce (Imperial)” is different from “Fluid Ounce (US)”.

        DOESN’T THE US USE THE IMPERIAL SYSTEM

          The US uses US customary units. Actual Imperial units are sometimes used informally around the UK and Commonwealth nations.
