Initially many in the Detroit Jewish community feared Woll’s death could have been a hate crime as the Israel-Hamas war had recently began raging in the Middle East.
However, Detroit Police Chief James E. White has reiterated police do not think Woll’s religion played any role in her death, something Worthy repeated after Jackson-Bolanos’ arrest.
Yeah I mean I would want to know motives and history of this Jackson-Bolanos figure before I chalked it up to a hate crime. Anyone seen any articles or blog posts with more info sources? News always seems so hell bent on following one narrative

Hate crime was always a bit of a stretch for this. Detroit has lots of regular crime of which I this is far more likely a part of.
