The lack of episode threads absolutely kills this community, we need to standardize thread titles so we can finally start talking about anime.

I think this episode essentially confirms some theories.

• Maru is Tokio’s child.
• The alternate story is set in the past.
• The alternate story is NOT far in the past. Most likely 15 years ago since Maru is 15.
• They’re creating supermen and they know it.
• The humans don’t know those supermen will go berserk and transform into monsters.
• The robots do.

Those robots, is it an AI? Or perhaps an Alien lifeform linked to machines?
