RIP, goodhearted woman.

America, if you’d vote for change, this wouldn’t be necessary. The US is the only developed country where this is commonplace.

Incomprehensibly depressing. Everything about this should make us ashamed of ourselves as a species. Or we should just stop pretending that we value each other more than cash. Or at all actually.

Don’t rope the rest of humanity into this. Most of the rest of us have got it figured out.

Then why do the most of us let something like this happen. And while some countries have better healthcare there is still an enormous amount of suffering everywhere be it starvation, war, homelessness you name it. We have the means to be better but we don’t do it.

I’m sorry, but we as a country can’t vote our way out of a paper bag. We’re too caught up in division politics and general propaganda to make any leeway

How do the economics work if one dollar can erase one hundred dollars of debt? Somehow profit is still made?

Constantly feels like we’re losing the best of us. I can’t imagine facing death and thinking, “How can I make a bunch of other people’s lives easier?”

Democrats are just as committed to this for-profit driven healthcare system as Republicans are. They’re just a little bit more polite about it.

Not really. There is at least a decent portion of Democrats in office that would love to at the very least offer a public option for health insurance. Unfortunately there are more than enough Democrats in office against the idea combined with all of the Republicans to block any sort of attempt at that or Medicare for All.

There were more than enough Democrats in Congress in 2008 to make that happen.

There are more than enough Democrats now to make it enough of an issue that it becomes part of the public conversation.

There are more than enough Democrats now that could make an internal party rule that prohibits Democrats from ever lobbying for pharmaceutical or insurance companies.

However, the Democratic Party is far more motivated to kneecap actual healthcare reforms than actually implement what they say they believe in.

While this is for sure life changing for those it helps, and magnanimous of this heroine, it is still chock full of shame that the motherfuckers who’ve twisted the system all up STILL get their win, no matter what.

I hope BRICS absolutely destroys the dollar, and when that falls, and the military and police no longer are getting paid, everything else’ll fall too. Then the rich can be just as broke as everyone else, but they’ll have food, supplies, jewelry so the armed will be making it out to mansion manor with the quickness. Like the next day.

And no, the police won’t work to restore order. Work for free? Have you met these people before? Look at the last 20 years, those motherfuckers will be LEADING the looting.

Don’t think they’ll be any kind of ally tho, they’ll be burning thru ammo taking out any one who even looks at them, you included. They’re only about themselves, as evidenced, by everywhere.

Voting won’t solve anything now that we’re one election away from authoritarianism. It’s the difference between a giant douche and a turd sandwich.

Is an over-lit room an unlit room?

      Is an overloaded truck unloaded?

An over-lit room can be uncomfortable, even impossible, to work in.

An overloaded truck is at best unable to move, and at worst a serious danger to everything around it.

You can’t work in an over-lit room because you can’t see.

You can’t use an overloaded truck because it can’t move safely.

You can’t live in an over-developed country because too many politicians are in the pockets of lobbyists who have pushed so much bullshit that’s resulted in a massive ungainly tax code filled with loopholes for the rich and built to fuck over the poor.

            It’s exactly what was asked.

          Neither reverses the effect.

An over-lit room is still a LIT room.

An OVER-loaded truck is still a loaded truck.

Dude… you’re fighting to have people accept something they already accept. Get over it. Yes USA is a developed country, but not just that in it self. On top of that it is overdeveloped rendering the development useless to everyday people like you and me.

        What’s your point?

Mine is, that capitalism has gone too far in the US. Yours sounds more like a meaningless and irrelevant wordplay.
