Does anyone have any links handy to a consolidated breakdown of the Ukraine coup? I was arguing with a lib friend on this and he doesn’t believe it was a coup at all, or that the US was involved. He thinks the Ukrainian people wanted to join the EU via a referendum and then Putin intervened to stop that. I’ve read passing tidbits on things like meetings at the US embassy, Yanukovych’s sudden turning away from the EU/IMF, etc, but it’s all still a little unclear even for me. Would appreciate an article or substack or something on this, and any podcast episodes would be cool too
