People who prefer a different genre. Far too much gatekeeping. Everyone keeps shitting on people who disliked BG3. There’s a choice and people should respect it. All respect is lost when people use opinions as fact. That’s why the gaming community is a shit show nowadays.

There were a lot more feeemales in arcades in Pong’s time. It was more of a well-rounded social gathering place with jukeboxes, pool tables, air hockey, and the like.

It was a deliberate porky-happy choice to nudge that culture with advertising and marketing tricks to make it increasingly hostile to feeemales once their internal studies indicated that male freeze-gamer spend more money when they’re not just chatting and flirting and otherwise hanging out for relatively free and are instead getting very serious about the bibeo bame.

Not this bad. People will literally hold grudges and send death threats for not liking a game nowadays. The worst I remember getting in the ninites is being called an asshole.

Sure, but HWL isn’t better than really any game in it’s genre either. It’s an open world adventure game with some of the worst open world gameplay I’ve seen in a long time. Sure, it’s in a popular franchise. That should hold no bearing on it being considered a good game or not though. It’s one of the most bland games I’ve ever played even though the universe that it comes from is somewhat interesting, though critically flawed.
