weed was pretty endemic on our highschool campus. it wasn’t unusual at all to take a bathroom break during class and see someone zonked out and sitting against the wall in the hallway waiting for something to pass. i still have zero gauge on how much schools vary on this stuff: tell that experience to one friend and they’ll say “sounds like highschool”, tell it to a different friend and they’ll ask “what the hell kind of a school did you go to?” i’m sort of thinking it’s less “did your school have a drug problem” and more “did you notice the drug problem” at this point.
