I was just speaking towards some people’s prejudices of wanting people in authority to be well dressed and ignoring them if not. I personally don’t agree with it, just bringing up the point. I’m definitely a substance over style type of person.

They just may be creatures of habit, and trying to uphold the ‘institution’ philosophy of Congress (in their minds) Sometimes you can just take someone at face value, you don’t always have to look for ulterior motives.
