Oh fuck yes a new Mogwai!
It’s an excellent album. I love the shoegaze vibes, which are more prominent than the post-rock sounds this time.
Mogwai are one of my favorite bands. I am glad that I got a chance to share this with others.
Ever heard of Jakob? They’re a post-rock trio from New Zealand and they make gorgeous music with shoegaze-like guitar and one of the best drummers I’ve ever heard. They’re one of the best post-rock bands out there and just as good as MONO with a similar sound. If you like Mogwai I imagine you’ll like Jakob.
