I’ve had good luck with schwalbe and continental, they tend to have models resistant to puncture and they aren’t too focused on “pro performance” (disposable but grippy).
This time I was left stranded about 10 km from home and I had to walk the bike to a friend’s house. Usually, the punctures I get are so small that the air escapes slowly enough that I can get all the way home only to discover a completely flat tire the next day.
Anyway, I decided to try patching the tube instead of replacing it this time which proved to be much less of a hassle and something that I could do on the road in the future, so it was a valuable experience
Oh nice! Good work! Always great when a tube patch can get you home. I actually carry full on tubes (light and small tpu ones) and they also come with a mini patch kit. Got them on aliexpress for like $6 per tube in bulk a while back.
Oof sorry friend.
