For the #InternationalTypewriterDay, I just bought on eBay my second typewriter
It’s an Olympia Dactylette S… and it doesn’t look like a good #typewriter. But it seems to work, and I had it for 6,50€, so it’s worth a shot (and it has a beautiful colour!). If it works, even badly, I’ll be able to type again, as my “daily driver” is still at the repairer, and I’ll be happy.
And who knows, maybe it’ll be a good surprise?
If it’s beyond repair, maybe I’ll take it apart to keep the spare parts, or maybe I’ll just keep it as decoration (I’m a big fan of its colour!). If it’s repairable, it will be a great opportunity for me to develop my skills!
Anyway, it will bring me more than its cost.
