As long as enough people are narcissistic and lack empathy, this will happen. Because at the end of the day, conservatism is narcissism. As is easily demonstrated in all tthe “leaporads ate my face” social media groups. Where you can see them cheering something on when it’s hurting others, and then crying as soon as it impacts themselves or someone close to them.
