Unfortunately, this unusual tameness was used to their disadvantage: as Darwin notes, men “frequently killed them in the evening, by holding out a piece of meat in one hand, and in the other a knife ready to stick them.”

There is no “native” population besides the penguins. They didnt kick out Argentinians or indigenous people to make room for Brits. You’re just wrong

so even the mild libs agree with my position

No. That’s not what that means. It’s a list of dependent territories that do not have an internal government. Not a list of territories that should be made independent or handed over to other countries.

Damn I wonder why the Special Committee on Decolonization is in charge of maintaining that list.

Man I wonder why the list of dependent territories without internal governments would be maintained by the organization for listing dependent territories. That sure means that the official approved lib position was that Alaska should be handed back to Russia until 1959 or something. The average lib was cool enough to say that the US should hand over territory to the USSR. That’s how this works, right? The page SAYS WHAT ITS A LIST OF.
They get removed if they have an internal government no matter how colonised they are. Or are we going to pretend Hawaii, Puerto Rico and Greenland aren’t colonised?

          Puerto Rico

Was part of the list. And is going to be added back in very likely.

And secondly I literally stated that the even the LIB version of a colonial definition agreed with me that the falklands are a colony. You are moving the goalpost, take a breath and self crit why you are so invested in british colonialism and chauvinism.
