You really need to think about the worst case when you use the word “all”
Think about the most acne-ridden, morbidly obese, ungroomed, mentally ill, racist incel with the worst hygiene. But hey, he plays starcraft and learned some computer programming. Down to smash?
Or perhaps you’re reading a parlance a little too literally. You’re right, that is what I meant in a literal sense, and it seems like we got there!
If someone says “redheads are hot,” do you also chime in with “come on now, surely you don’t think a redhead who doesn’t bathe and also is a racist Nazi is hot”?
Oh, come on now. You and I both know that’s bullshit
Well, I can’t speak for everyone’s taste of course, but I’m being quite sincere for my own part.

Well my friend, it’s not that person’s nerdiness that is the unsexy part.
You said “all nerds are sexy” you’re contradicting yourself here. Maybe you meant “nerdiness is sexy” but that is not what you said.

if someone said “redheads are hot” i’d say “alright”
if someone said “all redheads are hot” i’d say “that’s bullshit and you know it”
one is a generalization the other is an absolute statement
I’ll refer you to the first paragraph of my previous reply, friend. Have a good one!
maybe I’m just built different (≧ω≦)
edit: bc i find all nerds hot
