I think the meme is meant to show a devolution from a tech activist into techbro, but obviously not everyone followed that pipeline. I used to be in the “information wants to be free” and privacy-focused camp 10 years ago and I still am. There will be plenty of us.

I personally haven’t seen that either, but that’s what the meme says. Not necessarily that I think happens often
