Seriously, I usually use Poetry these days for most projects, shit just works, build well and lets me distribute my code from PiPy just fine.
Everything in one pyproject.yaml.

I like the pyproject.yaml, but checking dependencies with poetry takes 5 to 10 minutes for my projects.
