I think the only book I can actually remember anything about was Mark Levine’s book about his rescue dog he adopted and how after only a few weeks the dog suffered severe medical issues that lead to two years of the dog slowly dying and the memories mark and his family had with him during that time. It’s funny how the least political shit stuck with me and everything else didn’t stick
this book reminds me about all the “small government” talk that was so big from reagan until around 2018 that has almost died out now that it has been exposed to be an absolute sham
