I was actually scared the world was going to end in 2012, which is kind of silly because I was 25, but I was like “damn, my life is going good and now all of the sudden it’s all going to end?!” Then 10 years later my life did kind of end and now I’m in the rut I’m in today.
God I hated that shit. Our government exploited the Mayan population for this cheap publicity stunt that was never even a thing. I know this is a shitpost but the amount of drunk tourists that raided the temples that day still infuriate me.
Didn’t know about this but of course people fucking would. Did they damage anything?
Mostly the stairs. They’re difficult to walk on when sober and being drunk makes it nearly impossible.
