Here’s a uBlock filter I used for a long time that helped with that. It should still work. The caveat is that it broke certain features, like anything that opened a pseudo-popup (for lack of a better phrase), such as adding thing to a playlist, unsubscribe confirmations, the share popup, etc. Not sure how to make this all one single code block, so excuse the messy formatting.
