My take: It would be nice if this collection contained everything ever associated with Gradius, but: 1) The Gradius franchise is HUGE, and porting every game into a collection would take years, and cost a lot more money; and let’s face it shooters are a niche product, even famous ones like Gradius. And 2) There’s every possibility that – depending on how well Origins sells – there will be another collection eventually.

From what I’ve seen, this package will be well worth the money for me. But we’ll see how it goes.
