Just had the idea of using my Sad Ghost to set off the poison traps instead of the standard levitation potion. I just told the ghost to move to trapped locations and threw rations to set off the trap. At +7, it barely took any damage and doesn’t take any poison damage, yet it does from cave spinners, which is odd.

Sometimes I’ll try to make use of the traps and lure enemies near the room before setting the traps off with projectiles but this can be difficult and typically slow going.

    They’re amazing for recharging wands in conjunction with the electric runestone. One charge per sheep shocked.

    They are also good for minimizing self-damage from Psionic Blast.
