minus-squareikidd@lemmy.worldlinkfedilinkarrow-up23·2 years agoSmaller reels that are spliced together as they’re fed on the feed platter you see. My dad was a a projectionist, he’d make these up when a film arrived then break it down to ship it. I’d go on and help him as a kid.
