It’s pretty great so far. It’s easily the most polished non-FromSoft souls like I’ve played. The weapon system is a lot of fun to muck around with and try new movesets, and it’s fairly free with the upgrade materials, so you can try many different weapons. It definitely takes some getting used to, and it starts off feeling more punishing than some of its peers. But the game really wants you to mix Perfect guards and dodges, not just rely on one. Once that clicks it feels really nice to play
Ah, sounds interesting, and tough to master.
I’d say it may take a little time to ‘click’ at first but, there’s still plenty of ways to make it easier. E.g. consumables, certain weapon combos
