I’m posting because originally when I was looking to create a Lemmy account I came across Hexbear. I read the code of conduct and TOS and to me it seemed like a great fit for me. However, after creating an account there, it seems pretty defederated.

Anyway I was curious on the happenings over there, because they have some cute custom emojis over there… but if there’s a reason they’re so defederated, I might just pretend i never made an account there

    True but I’ve also seen quite a few ml users defend russia invading ukraine and calling ukrainians vermin etc

    Edit: That is to say, it’s easy to think they think russia is communist when they celebrate them killing civilians as some sort of victory against imperialism
