We protested Wednesday, and people complained that it wasn’t a weekend. I’m beginning to think some people don’t think there’s ever a good time to protest.
If this is supposed to be a shutdown that gets attention then it needs to be on a day where it would be noticed. A significant percentage of people are already off work, at home, and not shopping on Saturday. It’s silly to pick that date just because it’s the Ides of March.
Terrible date. Make it a weekday.
