Can’t see why he would given that Starmer sent advisors to help Harris campaign and has been openly hostile to Trump during the election. Trump is a very petty man.
It’s also part of the general Starter strategy of “back down on every single progressive promise” when pushed. Being against Trump was just another remnant of trying to pretend to be left while in the Opposition.
