I don’t blame them. He said to meet him at the Four Seasons and they waited at the hotel for hours and he never showed up. Then they called him the next day and he blabbed about some landscaping company and they were like, “this guy is a nut.”

The attorneys invoked a New York rule that allows attorneys to withdraw when a “client insists upon taking action with which the lawyer has a fundamental disagreement” or when a client “insists upon presenting a claim or defense that is not warranted under existing law and cannot be supported by good faith argument,” or when “the client fails to cooperate in the representation or otherwise renders the representation unreasonably difficult for the lawyer to carry out employment effectively."

Translation: they’re afraid of sanctions or even being disbarred if they continue working with the man publicly flouting court orders.

”Mr Trump doesn’t have to help me get out of this,” he said as he stepped into a car. “All Mr Trump has to do is straighten out the legal system, and you’ll find out who the real criminals are.”

This was a civil case, there’s nothing to overturn. And you lost it by default because you couldn’t be arsed to show up in court.

“Straighten out the legal system” god these people talk exactly like their own definitions of corruption. It’s gone so far beyond projection I don’t even know what to call it anymore.

How do these stupid fuckers lose these cases by default? It’s always way more of a penalty than if they show up and make the motions even. Look at Alex Jones; like a billion dollars is clearly insane no matter what a piece of shit he is, but he never showed up or sent a lawyer, and there he is.

Is this some sort of sovereign citizen bullshit, or are they just that nuts that they think it’ll go away?

Because showing up exposes them to lying and losing, which would be objectively worse. Of course, you could not be a shady sack of shit, but then you wouldn’t have to lie and might not lose.

And complying with discovery would mean exposing his communications with dear leader Mr Trump, and you can’t risk that.

Hey, nobody threatens America like that.

Until the day came when Rudy could drive around in a Mercedes taunting the same system and the cars owners. Now he can skip threats right to promises. Straighten out? Quick, white collars with lipstick first!

Anyway, here’s to the folks in prison for a bag of weed. o7
