The new record was set on September 22 at the Steady High Magnetic Field Facility (SHMFF) in Hefei, narrowly edging out the previous record of 41.4 tesla held by another resistive magnet at the National High Magnetic Field Lab in Florida since 2017.

Weird unit of measurement. Earth’s magnetic field is weak af. Like, seriously, Earth, you’re doing just the absolute minimum to protect us from space rays, huh? Lame. So lame.
MRI machines have 0.5 ~ 3.0 teslas. You don’t notice it.
Will you feel 41.4 T (without any metal objects inside/outside a body)?
