The famous Transatlantic/Mid-Atlantic “Hollywood accent” that Wikipedia and countless Youtube videos have “reported” on is a myth. It is a completely made up thing that didn’t actually happen at all.
I learned this yesterday from the same video. Dr Geoff Lindsey is great.
