I was playing through Shadow of the Erdtree the other day and was imagining what the game would have been like if it was made by Kojima instead of Miyazaki. I feel like it would be the exact opposite vibe. Everything is vague and secretive as is. Kojima would have made everything blatantly obvious. Marika would have just been a thinly veiled metaphor for America (Marika = 'Merica) or something. Subtlety isn’t his forte.

Hideo Kojima is not real, he cannot hurt you… Only emotionally.
